Annual HOA Meeting
The Annual Meeting for Landfall at Jamestown Community Association, Inc. homeowners. will
be held at 6:30p.m. (registration begins at 6:15p.m.), on Tuesday, October 26, 2021, at the
Jamestown High School cafeteria, located at 3751 John Tyler Hwy, Williamsburg, VA 23185.
The purpose of this meeting is to elect two (2) new members to the Board of Directors, and to
conduct other business that may come before the Board. All attendees will be required to always wear a mask per the High Schools requirements when inside the school.

Crepe Myrtle Bark Scale (CMBS), an Asian insect, was first located in Texas in 2004 and has spread up through the South reaching VA, and up toPenn.and beyond.
Master Gardeners in the area have seen situations in James City County where every crepe myrtle tree has been affected. Unfortunately, the insects are now in our development. There are some in the island, and one neighbor noticed a few crepe myrtles near the entrance to the dock area with the scale on the trunk and branches. The HOA Board is evaluating how to proceed with the crepe myrtles in our common areas.
The landscape companies that have licensed arborists can evaluate and provide treatments that are viable. You may want to have your own trees evaluated.
